Pings: 1 - Written by Melissa Moreno Sunday, 16 September 2007
An airline from the low budget carrier One-To-Go has crashed in the attempt to land land on Phukets Airport in South Thailand. The plane skidded over end of the run way and in to some threes and caught fire. The rescue worker say that as many as 60 of the 123 passengers can be dead since the plane broke into half after it crashed. The pilot tried to make a fly over with the MD-82 twin-engine but the winds got the plane and it crashed hard. Several foreigners passengers are expect to be among the dead and the airport is expected to be closed for the rest of the day. Weather in Phuket has been bad for several days, with thunderstorms and high wind gusts at times.
