"A group of us have decided to take the jihadis on in the last frontier: Operation YouTube Smackdown.
We are attempting to interdict enemy propaganda videos uploaded on YouTube including videos from Al Sahab (the cloud), the media branch of Al Qaeda, Al Ansar al Sunnah (Army of the Sunnah) which is an AQ affiliate in Iraq and many others.
We are doing this by noting the most egregious offenders and flagging their videos as "hate speech" and "graphic violence" the only two selections under YouTube guidelines we can take while leaving a comment on the video for YouTube that hosting these videos is a violation of US law prohibiting material support for terrorists or designated FTOs (foreign terrorist organizations). We also quote YouTubes policies regarding violent content. It takes appx 24 -48 hours to have them taken down.
