SB 840, a bill that would establish a single-payer healthcare plan for California, finds exciting new ways to bankrupt the state - at the taxpayers' expense!  But this time, the taxpayers won't pay JUST in dollars, but in healthcare - when the broad eligibility requirements practically guarantee that the system supports far more than just legal California residents (all emphasis added): 140400.
