The economy dummy!
After eight years of Bush, the US economy is on its knees and the rich end of town has the begging bowl out to people that thay have been ripping off. These are the same guys that spend most of their time trying to avoid paying taxes, laying a heavier burden of decent tax payers with a cock and bull story to the American people that $700billion is a small price to pay for saving the "World as we know. [Hey, they believed us when we told them that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, whatever they are, maybe we can fool them again.]

And here's me thinking that it was the banks that had all the money in the first place, and we and our Governments had all the debt!
But it appears that there are enough smart people on both sides of politics in the US to see that this is all a snow job.
What's wrong with allowing any bank or investment house tha...Write Comment (0 Comments) |

So much has arrived in my e-mail recently on the conflict between courageous preaching and the hate speech of those who find religion nauseating that I decided to write about it. What inspires me to do this is that it paints a clear picture of what we in the pro-life movement are up against when it comes to setting forth truth in a world intoxicated with nonsense.Write Comment (0 Comments) |

Apparently, the people of the US have decided that national socialism is the way to go. The fact that it spells doom for what used to be the greatest nation on earth doesn’t seem to worry anyone except a few of us old “give me liberty or give me death” types… and there’s only a handful of us left.Write Comment (0 Comments) |

Aside from the fact the Democrats in Congress are trying to fool Americans into believing they are “lifting” the ban on off-shore exploration and drilling for oil, the opposition to our domestic oil companies by both Democrats and radical environmental groups lies at the heart of why America is so dependent on foreign oil.Write Comment (0 Comments) |

On the off chance that you have not noticed… there is a religious fanatic in charge of Iran. The even more troubling problem is… he has his finger on the button, which could trigger Armageddon.Write Comment (0 Comments) |

Today, I will borrow an article style from that legendary economist and commentator of American culture and society, Hoover Institute fellow Dr. Thomas Sowell – particularly his column series he does from time to time on various issues of concern titled, "Random Thoughts." My foray into this genre will be called, "Arbitrary Ideas."
Two pictures of Americana that haunt me to this day: One, the firing of Gen. Douglas MacArthur by the diminutive President Harry Truman; Two, the ubiquitous white/colored water fountains from America's Jim Crow era.
What precipitated the battle between MacArthur and Truman was after defeating Hitler's Germany and Hirohito of Japan, the proactive general wanted to protect America's vulnerable flank., i.e., defeat communist North Korea and China.
Truman said no; Gen. MacArthur said you're a fool. The president won, and the general wa...Write Comment (0 Comments) |

Barack Obama has paid exceptional amounts of money to have his image crafted by savvy professionals who have made the Democrat appear to be a cool, calm, and collected stalwart with both feet squarely on the ground, unflappable, and always in control.
As a result of his pricey PR makeover, Obama is seen by liberals as a perfect match for the high stress and emotional drama that comes with being CEO and commander-in-chief of the world's only superpower.
(At least we hope America will still be a superpower on January 20!)
Unfortunately, the truth about Barack Obama reveals a much different story.
To begin with, the candidate has a history of drug use as chronicled in The Audacity of Hope, in which he confesses to illegal drug experimentation.
As commendable as it is for Obama to voluntarily expose his dirty laundry, it is worth noting that former drug offenders are...Write Comment (0 Comments) |

Believe it or not, this is the question that Google is asking about your website. Could it be that Google really wants to provide its users with quality choices for every search request?
Here's the hard truth about SEO. For every keyword phrase you want to gain high organic rank, you must be prepared to do two things:
Create the kind of content for your website that will set you apart from the rest of the sites who are also targeting that keyword and make your site "authoritative" on these subjects.
Re-organize the design and navigation of your site so that the major keyword themes stand out and shine to both web visitors and search engines.
Because of the enormous amount of competition for coveted search terms, you're site will not have a chance to outrank competitors unless you are committed to doing these two things. The way you approach authoritative and organized co...Write Comment (0 Comments) |

Pentecostals number about 10-30 million in the United States depending on how you define the term and make up one quarter of all Christians worldwide. They are a subset of the larger evangelical movement that numbers about 102 million people in the United States. New Media pundits have been forthright when presenting well-investigated stories concerning Barack Obama and John McCain. While the alphabet biased media fawned over Obama, who marketed himself as a candidate who transcends race and represented a new brand of politics, others looked for the truth.Write Comment (0 Comments) |

Let’s see… wasn’t it just 4 years ago that $87 Billion could run a WAR for a YEAR? And Congress balked at that figure (”I voted FOR the $87 Billion before I voted against it…”). Write Comment (0 Comments) |

Well, well, well. Who applied the pressure to the Pentagon to let Israel have these guided-missile” bombs? The last we heard, just a few days ago, was that the US was dragging it’s feet on the sale of these missiles to Israel. My, oh my, how things change… and so quickly, too.Write Comment (0 Comments) |

If you read as much of the blather turned out by media folk like the New York Times’ Thomas Friedman and others, you begin to see certain themes emerge.
They don’t like humanity much.Write Comment (0 Comments) |

Last week I did a review of Laurence Tribe, a professor of constitutional law at Harvard and his book, "The Invisible Constitution." Tribe's thesis is that the "real" Constitution is not so much in the black-letter text of the actual document, but in the unwritten, "recovered memories," hidden, "imagined experiences" and penumbral shadows.Write Comment (0 Comments) |
