Ayman al-Zawahri, al-Qaeda's second-in-command, has threatened more attacks on Britain two weeks after two failed bombings and criticised the country's decision to make author Salman Rushdie a knight.
"I say to (former British prime minister Tony) Blair's successor that the policy of your predecessor drew catastrophes in Afghanistan and Iraq and even in the centre of London," the Egyptian cleric said in an audio tape posted on the internet.
"If you did not learn the lesson then we are ready to repeat it, God willing, until we are sure you have fully understood."
Methinks it's not Britain that fails to understand the message being repeated all over the world: We will not bow to your demands; we will not submit to Sharia law; you have no right to interfere in the actions or culture of sovereign countries. You can make demands in your own country, but not in the countries of oth...Write Comment (0 Comments) |

Diverse group allegedly in British plot
By DAVID RISING, Associated Press Writer
LONDON - They had diverse backgrounds, coming from countries around the globe, but all shared youth and worked in medicine. They also had a common goal, authorities suspect: to bring havoc and death to the heart of Britain.
Not until paragraph 18 is the M-word mentioned - "Dr. Shiv Panbe, former chairman of the British International Doctors Association, said the two Indian nationals in custody were Muslims."
Eight people, all from Muslim countries except for the two Indians who are confirmed to be Muslim, all in their twenties, all in medicine. That's considered diverse these days?...Write Comment (0 Comments) |

KO: Larry, this Glasgow airport attack-
LJ: oh, don’t jump to conclusions, Keith! We don’t know this is connected to Islam-
KO: WHAT? A car full of liquid gasoline, tanks of butane and nails?
LJ: a disgruntled-
KO: DRIVEN into the airport main entrance?
LJ: Well, like-
KO: Where he POURS gas on himself and ENJOYS BURNING HIMSELF?
LJ: You see, Keith-
KO: Shouting “Allah’u’Ackbar!” while a brave bystander punched him in the face and the police wrestled him to the ground?
LJ: See, Islam is a religion of peace-
KO: …and pulled a suicide vest off him?
LJ: I admit there are a few circumstantial connections-
KO: A few? A FEW? Mr Johnson, what will it take for you to allow yourself to ACCEPT the conscious, rational connection between THIS ATTACK and the Global Jihad?

Guest commentator Keith Oldermann addresses Mr Bush:
Mr President, I agree with Mr Bolton 100%, when he says: quote, 'that ”diplomacy and sanctions have failed... “[So] we have to look at: 1, overthrowing the regime and getting in a new one that won’t pursue nuclear weapons; 2, a last-resort use of force.” '
Diplomacy is great, but we know who we're dealing with. The Iranian maniacs want to destroy our civilization. They declared war on America, by their actions, when Iran invaded our territory, kidnapped American citizens and held them captive for 444 days!
Since then, the State Department has proven itself to be an out-of-touch-with-reality organization, dragged down by bureaucracy and political correctness.
The U.S. really needs to do some Peace-Making. If the French, Belgians, and Swedes are uncomfortable with it, well so are we, but America would be MORE UNCOMFO...Write Comment (0 Comments) |

The “holy warriors” of the Taliban are already using children to decapitate helpless captives, so it comes as no surprise that their depraved jihad now includes 6-year old suicide bombers.
Quoting The Guardian
"Lt Col Accetta said the procedure for dealing with an armed minor had so far been untested in Afghanistan. “It would have been difficult to know what to do considering it was a six-year-old boy and he was presumably going to push the button himself or someone was going to detonate it for him remotely,” Lt Col Accetta said.
The rules of military engagement are easily muddied when a child poses a direct threat, he explained. “What we do if we identify the fact that an adult is wearing a suicide vest is we use whatever force we deem necessary to protect the lives of our soldiers and any civilians. Of course it makes it more difficult - it’s a six year-old child....Write Comment (0 Comments) |

Actually, I guess it is the King and all of us. Here in Thailand, King Bhumibol Adulyadej is greatly revered by the Thai people. Pretty much everyone in Thailand thinks of the King like a father and his likeness and symbols of the monarchy can be found just about everywhere. As you drive through the various cities and towns in Thailand, the King is there to great you with a wave and a smile. The King and the royal family dominate roadside billboards, elegant portraits are scattered throughout city streets, and placement of the yellow flag representing the monarchy parallels if not supersedes that of the red, white and blue Thai flag.
King Adulyadej has weathered a lot on the throne (a few military coups and the death of his beloved grandson in the 2004 tsunami) and has actually held his position longer than any other monarch in Thai hist...Write Comment (0 Comments) |

Keith Oldermann here with some shocking headlines for today, June 22, 2007
Well, after the defeat of Fatah forces in the Gaza Strip, Jordyptian 3rd-generation refusees slaughtered all who tried to surrender, so now Israel releases $400 million in ‘tax revenue’ to the “Palestinian Authority”, still with its Mahmoud Abbas figurehead at the helm.
While the Lebanese FINALLY defeated the enclave of Islamist thugs, and the world’s news-media offered deafening silence!
Give ‘em money for terror and the death for free?
Although I’m not in the habit of praising Mr Bush, it is becoming clearer daily that clear-headed analysts are seeing the morality, the desirability and the benefit to all humankind of taking decisive action in and against Iran.
And ‘decisive action’, Mr Bush, is NOT a strongly-worded letter!
And lest we forget, Mr Bush, Iran is this very day a...Write Comment (0 Comments) |

Some people thing they do not eat dogs in Thailand but they do. Sure most of the dogs are send to China and Laos but in North Thailand many people eat dogs and think its good for many things.
People mostly like to have black dogs as dinner because they have magical powers and you get power by eating a black dog. In North Thailand some restaurants have bowls upside down outside the door and that mean they serve dogs as food.Write Comment (0 Comments) |

The real power fight is on now in Thailand the Assets Scrutiny Committee has frozen the assets of the former PM of Thailand and in the same time invited him to come back to Thailand to defend himself. The central bank of Thailand has been ordered to trace down the rest of the money that are already outside the country. The people for democracy are demonstrating the street to make sure that Thailand will have an election in December or before but are they backed by the former PM or not. The last 6 month of this year will be a really unsecured for Thailand and could even lead to civil war.Write Comment (0 Comments) |

Jerusalem -- Israeli aircraft attacked Palestinian militant targets in
Gaza
City. The army said it hit a building used by the Islamic Jihad group and an arms workshop run by the Al Aksa Martyrs Brigades.
Submitter iAMbs says: There is so much wrong with this story I hardly know where to start...so might as well start here: "Palestinian militants say they will continue attempts to capture an Israeli soldier, but they are also fighting among themselves." So they openly admit that kidnapping is one of their goals AND can't even keep among themselves, yet they should be given a state? I say BS!!...Write Comment (0 Comments) |
