There have been a couple of security vendor press releases recently talking about how they solve the issue of anonymous web proxies. These proxies are web servers that allow users to circumvent URL / content filtering systems to access sites that may be prohibited at work. There are a ton of proxies for MySpace, for example. The first release I saw was from 8e6 Technologies. Typical vendor marketing in action here talking about the dangers of proxies and how they solve the problem. There was a similar release from Aladdin Knowledge Systems. However this release bordered on sensationalism in my book. They claim to be able to stop 100% of anonymous proxies, even encrypted connections.
I don't know how that is possible. Granted they are not trying to keep track of Proxy URL's, but still. Even encrypted? How would their software know the difference between me logging into my bank with S...Write Comment (0 Comments) |

I have over 100 domains and I do not get much money from SEDO pointing to them. I mostly the point to SEDO because I want to sell some of the domains or get an offer I can not refuse to take.
But when I saw this offer last week to get paid to put banners on my site every month I really changed my mind. It is very easy all you have to do is put 3 banners on your site and wait for their approval and they will pay you 10 dollar to start with and 5 dollar every month after that.
You do not have to worry about site statistic or how many times they click they pay you every month anyway.
I got rejected one time but I send in other domains the day after and that one was approved by them right away.
There is no funny pop up or other spy ware in the banners so you not have to worry and the banners are approved by Adsense.

I was looking for something tonight and clicked a link to a page on Whitedust Security's news site, Whitedust.net. When I clicked on the link I got a page with only this:

With the industry and those in it so seemingly hostile to Whitedust, and
pure apathy from anyone who thinks otherwise. Why bother. This site is
now closed permanently. It's staff have abandoned the scene and the industry

For those WordPress fanatics out there, you know the usual deal, and that is whenever you want to start a new blog, up goes a new WordPress installation. In the early days of WordPress 1.x I would say that is pretty much all it would be good for: a nice PHP script for personal blogging.
Since the release of 2.x however, one can now start to say that WordPress is ready for just about any site. From the plug-in API and the newly incorporated widget system, this previously limited application is becoming a powerhouse.

Since last 2 posts, we are discussing here about social media marketing and social media optimization. The reason is there's alot of unawareness in webmaster regarding these term "Social networking" "Social bookmarking" "social media optimization" "Social media marketing".
Today we are going to discuss unfolded term "Social network Optimization" (SNO). Its nothing but mixture of Social Media Optimization and Social media marketing. In Social Network Optimization, the following things are to be done :

As I told you in my other post about FireFox Proxy there is other ways to watch YouTube from Thailand then use a site called Proxy servers. There is off course more then one plug in to the fast browser.
One Plug in calls it self the best plug in ever and says its faster then the rest and it is called FoxyProxy. Well the name is smooth but I can never get it to work but on the other hand I am not a Proxy server ginues I am just trying to watch some YouTube from Thailand.

There is other ways to watch YouTube from Thailand then use a site called Proxy servers. The ultra fast browser FireFox has some cool plug ins you can use and you not have to visit another page first. The plug in make it possible to use internet from a computer from lets say USA and avoid the block from the ICT ministry in Thailand.

Since you can not see some sites from Thailand and not all are videos we want to help you to find Proxy in Thailand that actually works. So every week we will give you a list of Proxy sites or write about a site that works from Thailand. If you have any suggestion about a good proxy or then please let us know and we will list it here for you.

Have you seen all the Google addicts that I have in my right side of the blog? They all came surfing in on my site and left a trail after that. If you want to find out more about the person behind the photo you can click on the photo and it will take you to there personal site. The script and site behind this is My Blog Log and its free for basic use. It’s good for building links and get to know other people with similar interest.

Apple have launched a new iMac with 20 to 24 inch screen and nothing smaller that that. Big is better we all know that or at least that is what “they” trying to tell us. Its 300 $ dollar cheaper and has a new aluminum cover instead of the old plastic once. It is off course much faster then the old iMac and Apple believe it is going to be a best seller off course. When you consider that the iPhones and iPhods is just flying of the shelves you can assume people want something to back it all up on and what is better then a new 24 inc iMac? Looks like Google is taking mobile devices a little more seriously now that the iPhone has been released. The mobile versions of Google's services are working better and better. I use the Treo 700w Windows Mobile device as my main cell phone. I've set my home page to Google's mobile product line at http://www.google.com/m/products. I've tried every email and rss reader application for my Treo that is available, none of them were that good. Google's Mobile RSS Reader works great. I imported my OPML and can read all of my favorite feeds from my phone. Google's mobile version of gMail is awesome too. I don't even bother using the built in outlook client anymore. A mobile version of YouTube exists for your video viewing pleasure. You can even view your Picasa photo albums on your mobile device. Alas, I was unable to attend Defcon this year. It makes me sad. But there is always next year. I tried to follow some of the news coming out of Defcon this year on the web. Below are some of the highlights from the convention (as best as I can tell, not actually being there).
It seems like the big story this year is that Dateline NBC sent an undercover mole with a hidden camera to the convention. I laughed out loud when I saw this. Having been to Defcon many times in the past, I've witnessed first hand what happens to people trying to take pictures and video without permission. Lets just say the practice is "heavily frowned upon". Good times. When Dark Tangent (creator of Defcon) announced the presence of Michelle Madigan (Associate Producer of NBC Dateline) to the convention, she fled the convention immediately. BUSTED! I have basic change server 2 times in my life. I like to change servers because the support tends to be worse the longer you keep the same server and they do not care about old customers as they do with new once.
The first server was just a joke it looked like he did business from his backyard or something. He starts telling me that all the problem that happen on the server was caused by my domains.
The only way that I could fix this was to get a dedicated server he said and off course pay more money. I did a test and moved out all my domains from the server and he did not even check but still blame me even if I did not have a single domain with him.
