Out of Asia
Pings: 1 - Written by The World by Road Sunday, 18 November 2007
We are nearing our end in Asia.  From Indonesia to Russia we went spanned the continent South to North. From China to Turkey we will have made the passage from East to West. In covering this vast continent, we have encountered bandits, sand storms, snow storms, bears, foxes, cobras, camels, and countless geographical challenges. We have passed through the lands of the Soviets, Chinggis Chan, the Ming Dynasties, Mao, Ho Chi Minh, the Sultans and more.  We have seen some of the richest people and the poorest people. Our trucks have been our transportation, our home, our bed, our kitchen, our theater, our security. Temperatures have ranged from negative twenty to well over 100. But over the last 7 months it has taken us to navigate this continent, none of the previous experiences would have prepared us for the last week we have spent leaving Central Asia... On November 1st, whil...Write Comment (0 Comments)

Mexican President Calderon Proves That Stupidity Is Transferable
Pings: 1 - Written by Hans Gruen Saturday, 17 November 2007
By John Lillpop When the term of former Mexican President Vicente Fox ended nearly one year ago, many pundits predicted a new age of enlightenment in third world Mexico. Felipe Calderon, Fox's eventual successor, was supposed to usher out the traditional stupidity that has captivated Mexico for decades. Unfortunately, President Calderon is turning out to be least as daft as Fox, and perhaps more so in certain instances. Calderon's latest dabbling in terminal idiocy came when the president ripped "the growing harassment" of Mexicans in the United States. He added to the insanity by calling illegal aliens squatting in America "thematic hostages" of the 2008 presidential campaign, and by insisting that American politicians not use Mexican illegal aliens as a talking point. Proving beyond a doubt that stupidity is, in fact, transferable from one Mexican president to another, Cald...Write Comment (0 Comments)

Better'n Ace?
Pings: 1 - Written by Karridine Friday, 16 November 2007
Here's a link to Something Wonderful! No matter HOW the MSM treats it. -Call BS- But doing that REQUIRES an ability to MAKE A DISTINCTION (between friend and foe) and also REQUIRES that the afflicted populace VALUE their own earthly lives and the lives of their children enough to take needed steps to PROTECT THEMSELVES from vicious killers in their midst!Write Comment (0 Comments)

To be a Good Republican
Pings: 1 - Written by Hans Gruen Thursday, 15 November 2007
By Doug Edelman Circulating on the internet these days, there are a couple emails outlining what you must believe to be a "good democrat" or a "good republican".  Recently I was sent a copy of the "Things you must believe to be a good Republican". I was struck with the inaccuracies and outright falacies that the author circulates as representative of Republican thinking.  So I wrote a brief response, point for point.  I hope you find both the author's statements and my responses enlightening. To be a Good Republican, you must believe: 1) Being a drug addict is a moral failing and a crime, unless you are millionaire conservative radio jock, which makes it an illness and needs  our prayers for your recovery. No, Choosing to pursue a lifestyle of excess and intoxication is a moral failing and a crime.  (See Paris, Lindsay, Nicole, & Brittney!)  Becoming addicted t...Write Comment (0 Comments)

An Apt Analogy for Amnesty
Pings: 1 - Written by Hans Gruen Thursday, 15 November 2007
By John W. Lillpop George W. Bush, for reasons known only to his therapist and pet snake, is intent on destroying America. His number one objective seems to be allowing enough peasants to come here illegally so that America itself will decay into a third-world cesspool akin to Mexico. Excepting a few stalwart conservatives, the Bush plan to trash America has wide support from liberals who salivate at the prospect of 20-30 million new instant Democrats. Profit-driven business tycoons with little or no concern for homeland security, U.S. sovereignty, rule of law, and preservation of American language and culture, are also eager to legalize millions of people who will work for below-minimum wage and without benefits. Of course, elitists like Bush, liberal politicians, and business executives can dismiss valid concerns about the "Mexicanization" of America because their lives wil...Write Comment (0 Comments)
